It is with great pleasure we invite you to become a member of ‘The Sherwood Western Riding Club’.
This club has been specifically formed to promote western riding and to create a thriving community of like minded western enthusiasts, where people can get together with the common bond of western riding and the western lifestyle and values.
We plan to hold ‘club only’ events, shows, talks, demonstrations and organised trips. The club will only thrive if the members support and drive the club forward. Being a member will entitle you to member only benefits, year end awards and discounted events such as show entries, clinics, and Oakridge Tack Store purchases. Preferential bookings for stables, clinic places and events
will mean you get to know about up coming events before others, allowing you to make the most of your membership and discounts.
As a member run club, your input and help will be gratefully accepted, as will your ideas and suggestions be considered and implemented where appropriate. An annual AGM will take place after the yearly Christmas show where year end awards will be given.
We sincerely hope you decide to become a member, and look forward to welcoming you to enjoy the events planned for 2012.

What a super day had by all!! despite the horrible weather the clinic was full and all that attended enjoyed the morning. The second hand tack stalls were busy, so hopefully members
had a profitable trip out. Our next event is the Sherwood Summer Clinic & Show on May 19th and 20th. Club members can hire horses and get discounted entries for the classes. See you all there .......
We were so excited to welcome all members and non-members to our first Club Day and event at the Oakridge Arena on Sunday 29th January 2012.
The 2nd Hand Tack Sale was a roaring success with 10 stalls full of second hand tack, just waiting for a new home. Over £1000 exchanged hands throughout the day, with an amazing £73.50 raised for the AQHA - UK Youth Team.
During the day we welcomed more new members and with the aroma of fresh coffee, hot chocolate and good old bacon butties, we couldn't have asked for a more perfect opening event.
